Statement from the Israeli army about the attack on the south of Lebanon

The Israeli army made a written statement regarding its latest attacks against the south of occupied Lebanon.

In the statement, it was argued that Hezbollah's positions in the south of Lebanon were targeted in response to Hezbollah's UAV attack.

The statement claimed that the positions from which UAV and anti-tank missiles were launched and Hezbollah facilities in the south of Lebanon were targeted, and it was stated that there were no Israeli soldiers killed or injured in yesterday's Hezbollah attack.

⁠Israel's attacks in Lebanon and the ceasefire process

The Israeli army launched intense air strikes on Lebanon on March 2 and occupied dozens of towns in the south of the country.

The Lebanese government announced that the number of people displaced in the country due to the attacks exceeded 1 million.

The ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel, which came into force on April 17, was later extended several times.

In its latest statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that at least 4,386 people had died in Israel's attacks on the country since March 2.

On the other hand, after the 5th round of direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon in Washington, a framework agreement was signed between Lebanon and Israel on June 26.
