Israeli warplanes hit southern Lebanon

According to Lebanon's official news agency NNA, Israeli warplanes targeted the Upper Nabatiye town twice in less than 15 minutes.

Warplanes also carried out an air attack on the Ali Tahir forest area in the outer reaches of Upper Nabatiye, and bombed the town of Kefertebnit 3 times in a row.

The Israeli army also targeted the Eastern Zavtar town with artillery fire.

No information has yet been shared regarding whether there was any loss of life or injury in the attacks.

⁠Israel's attacks in Lebanon and the ceasefire process

The Israeli army launched intense air attacks on Lebanon on March 2 and occupied many towns in the south of the country.

The Lebanese government announced that the number of people displaced in the country exceeded 1 million during this period.

The ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel, which came into force on April 17, was later extended several times.

In its latest statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that at least 4,383 people had died in Israel's attacks on the country since March 2.

On the other hand, after the 5th round of direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon in Washington, a framework agreement was signed between Lebanon and Israel on June 26.
