Israeli Defense Minister Katz announces plan for mass attack against Palestinian Authority in the West Bank

Regarding the knife attack on an Israeli who usurped Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stated that the army was instructed to prepare for an all-out attack against the Palestinian Authority "in the event of an attack similar to October 7."

Katz made a statement regarding the knife attack on an Israeli who usurped Palestinian lands in the Usarin region near Nablus.

The Israeli Minister said that if it is determined that the Palestinian Authority security forces or their affiliated groups have launched or are preparing for an "October 7-like" attack, the army has been instructed to prepare for an all-out attack in the West Bank.

According to the plan outlined by Katz for the West Bank, where the Israelis, who usurped Palestinian lands, carried out intense attacks on Palestinians in every region, Israel will launch attacks throughout the region against senior officials of the Palestinian Authority, security units and targets that it defines as "terror infrastructure".

The Defense Minister suggested that the attacks could include assassinations, the evacuation of Palestinians from cities and villages on the scene, and the permanent Israeli military presence in the cleared areas.

Katz compared the possible plan to the occupation zones established by Israel in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the army's previous attacks in the Jenin Refugee Camp and the north of the West Bank.

Israeli Minister Katz said, "We will not allow a return to the reality of an intifada that will last for years, as in the past." he said.

Katz argued that the plan would be put into action if there was a serious deterioration in the security situation and definitive intelligence was obtained that the Palestinian Authority forces or affiliated groups were preparing for a large-scale attack.

Stating that Israel's current West Bank policy is based on three priorities, Katz claimed that these are "fighting terrorism originating from Palestine, expanding Jewish settlements and maintaining security stability."

The Israeli army had announced that a knife attack occurred in the Usarin region near Nablus, and that the person who organized the attack fled the scene and was later caught and killed in the Kabalan region.
