Within the scope of the capital market and criminal asset laundering investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 5 luxury villas with a total market value of approximately 1.2 billion TL, which were determined to belong to Muhammed Yarız and Serdar Turhan but were registered in the name of third parties, were seized.
In the investigation of the real estate in the investigation file, the total current market value of the villas was evaluated to be between approximately 23 and 24.5 million dollars. Within the scope of the investigation, not only the current ownership status of the villas, but also their transfer and sale transactions in the past years were included in the investigation.
While examining who acquired the real estate and through what processes, the connections between ownership changes and the financial movements under investigation were also examined.
TRANSFER HISTORIES OF VILLAS WERE EXAMINED
As a result of the examination of the reports prepared by MASAK within the scope of the investigation file of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was evaluated that high-amount third-party transfers, shipments abroad, financial movements between investment institutions and recent movable and immovable sales created strong suspicion in terms of the transfer of asset values obtained from the crimes subject to investigation and transactions aimed at reducing assets.
LAND REGISTRATION RECORDS OF VILLAS LOCATED IN BEYKOZ ACARKENT WERE INVESTIGATED
During the examination, it was determined that a villa was taken over by Muhammed Yarız from Mehmet Bozdağ on February 27, 2026, and was transferred to Bolkan Bekçi on September 9, 2026, and is still registered in the name of Bolkan Bekçi.
It was determined that another villa was taken over by Enis Bulut from Serdar Arslaner on December 17, 2025 and is still registered in the name of Enis Bulut. It was determined that another villa was taken over by Ömer Bedir Çetinel from Efes International Transportation Joint Stock Company on December 25, 2025 and is still registered in the name of Çetinel. It was determined that one of the villas in question was taken over by Pusula İnvest Gayrimenkul Anonim Şirketi from Yeliz Işık on August 6, 2025 and is still registered in the name of the company. In addition, it was determined that the villa was taken over by Esra Alkış from Esra Özmen on February 10, 2025, and was transferred to KL Taahhüt İnşaat Anonim Şirketi on July 17, 2025 and is still registered in the name of the company.
VILLAS ARE EMPTY AND UNDER RENOVATION
An investigation was also carried out in the Acarkent Site, where the villas are located, by the teams of the Financial Crimes Fighting Branch Directorate.
It was determined that the villa, which was checked at around 16.08, was under renovation and that no person was living in it. It was also determined that another villa was under renovation and was found empty.
The exterior door of the villa, which was checked on the same day, was closed with a wooden board, and upon examination from the vehicle entrance, it was determined that it was under renovation and that there was no one inside. Another villa that was checked was empty, and when examined from the outside through the glass partitions, it was seen that there was no furniture inside. It was determined that no person resided in the villa.
THE VILLAS WERE VALUED AT APPROXIMATELY 23-24.5 MILLION DOLLARS
Within the scope of the investigation, information was obtained from the real estate sales offices within the Acarkent Site to determine the value of 5 villas. Accordingly, it was learned that the villas in question could be worth 8-8.5 million dollars, 3-3.5 million dollars, 5 million dollars, 4 million dollars and 3-3.5 million dollars respectively.
It was stated that the total reported approximate values were around 23-24.5 million dollars. However, it was noted that the figures in question are not exact values and that an expert examination is required to fully determine the location, surface area, comparable sales and physical characteristics of the villas. It was also reported that the site management did not have any comparable sales documents regarding the past sales of the villas and documents showing the rental prices.
PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE REQUESTED SEIZURE
The prosecutor's office requested the seizure of Muhammed Yarız's assets, including the villa numbered A2, which was previously registered to him and later transferred to Bolkan Bekçi, and the real estate in Nilüfer district of Bursa, registered in the name of Bainbridge Gayrimenkul Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, of which Serdar Turhan and Mehmet Salih Turhan are authorized.
It was stated that within the scope of the investigation, the immovable properties were evaluated within the scope of transactions aimed at transferring the assets obtained from crime or reducing the assets and were subject to confiscation measures.
