Traffic was paralyzed at the end of working hours in Istanbul! Density reached 89 percent

While drivers had difficulty moving forward in traffic due to rain, the density increased, especially on the D-100 highway, TEM Highway and bridge connection roads.

On the European Side, there is two-way traffic congestion on the D-100 highway in Küçükçekmece, Avcılar, Bahçelievler, Güngören and Cevizlibağ locations. Vehicles move with difficulty on the Avcılar-Beylikdüzü route.

There was traffic congestion in both directions between the Mecidiyeköy location of the D-100 highway and the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in the directions of Ankara and Edirne. On the TEM Highway, vehicles are moving slowly towards Ankara from Hasdal and Seyrantepe locations to Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.

While the traffic flow is slow in both directions of Büyükdere Street between Zincirlikuyu and Levent, there is also congestion in Beşiktaş and Şişli and Basın Ekspres and TEM Highway connections.

On the Anatolian Side, traffic density is observed in both directions on the section of the D-100 highway between Uzunçayır location and Gülsuyu. While vehicles are moving slowly in the direction of the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in Altunizade location, traffic is slow in the direction of Ümraniye in Kavacık location of TEM Highway.

While traffic congestion occurs on the main arteries around Ümraniye, Ataşehir, Üsküdar and Maltepe, the progress of vehicles slows down on the routes in the direction of Kartal and Pendik.

On the other hand, passenger density is observed in public transportation vehicles such as metrobuses, bus stops and transfer centers.
