60 capsules of methamphetamine were seized in the stomachs of 2 passengers at Izmir Airport

Under the coordination of the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate teams followed two people who showed suspicious behavior in the domestic flights section of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.

The two suspects were stopped after a while and were referred to a health institution for detailed body examination. During the internal body examination performed at the health center, it was determined that the suspects were carrying drugs.

As a result of the examination carried out under the supervision of expert teams, a total of 495 grams of methamphetamine was seized in 60 capsules, which were determined to be swallowed by the suspects in their stomachs. 2 suspects, who were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police, were arrested.
