Gendarmerie carried out an operation against 17 suspects who were intermediaries in the transfer of proceeds from betting and games of chance.

According to the statement made on the social media account of the Governorship, within the scope of the "Streets are Safe" operations carried out by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, the work was carried out in coordination with the Gendarmerie General Command's Cyber ​​Crimes Department, the Financial Crimes Investigation Board and the judicial authorities.

An operation was organized to capture 17 suspects who were found to be intermediaries in the transfer of proceeds from betting and games of chance in football and other sports competitions.

SIMULTANEOUS OPERATIONS TO 21 ADDRESSES

15 suspects were detained in the simultaneous operation carried out by the teams at 21 addresses determined in Muş, Batman, Bursa and Yalova.

During the searches carried out at the addresses, 31 mobile phones, 5 computers, 17 SIM cards, 62 debit and credit cards, 5 identity cards belonging to others, checks worth 1 million 750 thousand liras and 2 unlicensed hunting rifles were seized.

Efforts are continuing to capture the two fugitive suspects.
