Juan Bravo (PP) criticizes Pedro Sánchez's housing management and demands early elections

The Deputy Secretary of Finance, Housing and Infrastructure of the PP, Juan Bravo, stated this Sunday, September 27 in Seville that the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, "cannot expect to fix in four days what he has destroyed in eight years" in terms of housing, highlighting that he has only built 500 of the 184,000 promised homes.

As reported by the PP, Bravo criticized the "interventionist policies" and "empty promises" of the head of the Executive in this area, insisting that each year the housing problem is more serious. The popular leader stressed that his party has solutions to combat the frustration of young people who cannot access a home.

The popular leader detailed some of the proposals of the PP leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, such as building one million homes in the next legislature, liberalizing procedures and land, and reducing taxes to facilitate aid to young people. These measures, according to the PP, seek to alleviate the burden on the new generations.

He recalled that his party has also proposed lowering VAT on basic foods, deflating personal income tax and reducing taxes in the field of energy. These initiatives are part of a broader package to improve the economic situation of Spaniards.

Electoral clamor

Bravo demanded that Sánchez call early elections, arguing that he is creating an "unlivable" situation for Spaniards, with the increase in the price of electricity, gasoline, food and housing. "Citizens can't take it anymore and see that every moment is more complicated," he added.

He also criticized that Sánchez had abandoned Ceuta to go "to play basketball with a friend", which, according to Bravo, is a mockery for all Spaniards. He insisted that Spain needs a president who is present and assumes responsibilities.

He assured that the situation in Ceuta "remains the same or worse", with an increase in sexual assaults that generates fear among citizens and economic activity that is not recovering. "Citizens ask for the return of all those who have invaded Ceuta," he stated.

The PP Deputy Secretary of Finance stressed that Sánchez's Executive should stop demagoguery and look for real solutions. He criticized that the Government allocates more resources to those who have invaded Ceuta than to the self-employed, businessmen and Spanish citizens.

Another roadmap

He insisted that these measures are necessary to combat the frustration of young people, who face difficulties in accessing decent housing, and stated that the PP is committed to improving the quality of life of all Spaniards.
