Court orders exclusion of campaign video that used hospital construction as an electoral backdrop

According to the process, the material was recorded and released after criticism made by Ciro in a debate promoted by Grupo O POVO, on August 27th. At the time, he questioned the situation and progress of the hospital's construction.

When granting the urgent decision, the judge stated that there is evidence of conduct prohibited by electoral legislation. According to him, those involved did not just use the construction area as a stage, but entered the internal part of the site, which has restricted access.

"There is, therefore, sufficient evidence that the location was used not only as an illustrative image, but as a material element of the electoral narrative itself, and in addition, the circumstance assumes special relevance because the content is not merely institutional or informative in nature, notably because the recording was made immediately after the electoral debate in which Ciro Ferreira Gomes questioned the stage of the work and, according to the presented narrative itself, it begins with direct reference to the opponent's demonstration, continuing with the exhibition of the enterprise's facilities and culminating with the expression \"CIRO MIND!\", says the decision.
