The incident took place on Thursday, November 5, at around 14.30 in a jeweler in Çağlayan District.

According to the information obtained, an armed attack was carried out by a hooded suspect while customers were present. Salim H., who was injured in his back, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the first intervention of the medical teams at the scene. It was learned that Salim H.'s life was not in danger. The suspect started to flee the scene.

KAĞITHANE PUBLIC ORDER POLICE CAUGHT

Kağıthane Public Order Bureau teams took action after the attack and inspected the surrounding area. S.Ö. was detained approximately 15 minutes after the attack in the region, where Kağıthane Patrol Teams Police officers were also on duty at fixed enforcement points for precautionary purposes.

HE ACCEPTED HAVING CARRIED OUT THE ATTACK

It was learned that S.Ö. admitted to carrying out the attack in his first statement to the police. The suspect said that he threw away the gun he used in the incident while running away. Thereupon, the police searched the specified place and seized 1 unlicensed gun and 18 bullets. It was learned that S.Ö. was caught close to where he threw the gun.
