Two Fatal Traffic Accidents in Karaman

The accident occurred around 19.30 near the village of Zengen in the city centre.

The car with plate number 42 BET 520, driven by Ali Koraşoğlu (63), and the car with plate number 70 ADE 110, driven by Hasan Ali Tunç (25), collided head-on.

Upon the notice of those in the wedding convoy, many ambulances, fire brigade and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Upon examination by the medical teams, it was determined that the driver Ali Koraşoğlu and Abdullah Bilgin, who was a passenger in the other vehicle, lost their lives.

Hasan Ali Tunç, Ahmet Sarıkaya (28), Serkan Öztürk (23), Dudu Koraşoğlu (61) and Gamze Koraşoğlu (31), who were injured in the accident, were taken to Karaman Training and Research Hospital by ambulance after the first interventions.

Following the investigation of the gendarmerie crime scene investigation teams and the Public Prosecutor at the scene, the bodies of Ali Koraşoğlu and Abdullah Bilgin, who lost their lives, were taken to the morgue of Karaman Training and Research Hospital for autopsy.

An investigation has been launched into the accident.
