Investigation into the Death of Explorer Kozinoğlu Continues, Allegations of Valley of the Wolves Ambush Are Being Evaluated

NESLİHAN KESKİN / NEWS CENTER - The investigation carried out by the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the death of Kaşif Kozinoğlu in the penal institution where he was detained on 12 November 2011 continues. In the statement made by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that the notifications received and the findings obtained within the scope of the investigation file were evaluated together.

In this context, allegations that the character "Kazım Kaşifoğlu" in the Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu series was killed after being portrayed as a traitor, that vehicle license plates bearing the letter group "FG" were used in some scenes, and that certain episodes of the series contained content in the nature of propaganda, covert messages, organizational instructions or guidance in favor of FETO were examined.

In order to clarify the allegations in question, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office decided that an expert panel consisting of experts in their fields will examine the episodes of the series and related contents. It was stated that the review was aimed at evaluating the scenes and contents in question within the scope of the allegations.

The screenwriters of the series, Raci Şaşmaz, Bahadır Özdener and Cüneyt Aysan, stated in their statements given at the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office as "informed" that the events and developments in the series were a coincidence and that there was no flow of information or documents from any institution or structure.

It was claimed that the MİT officer character, who was included in the series under the name of Kazım Kaşifoğlu in the 123rd episode of the series, was describing Kaşif Kozinoğlu in real life. In the 136th episode of Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, released on November 10, 2011, the character named Kazım Kaşifoğlu was killed by injecting air into his vein, and the cause of death was shown as a heart attack. Three days after this episode was broadcast, Kaşif Kozinoğlu, who was in prison, died.

The company, which acquired the domains of the "kurtlarvadisidarbe.com" and "kurtlarvadisidarbe.net" sites four months before the July 15 Coup Attempt, applied for a patent 2 months before the coup attempt.
