No, I don't think so. I wouldn't think it would be right to hold a presidential debate today. The country is truly a fire place. There are families that cannot make ends meet, there is unemployment, there are drugs, the parliament cannot do its job. There is a decay in institutions. We need to focus on these problems. We need to do something to solve these problems

Who will CHP nominate? Do you have a name in mind?

I do not have such an opinion in the current situation of the country, I do not find it right.

After the six-party table experience, will CHP be open to new alliances and collaborations in the next election?

There are judicial and administrative decisions against CHP and YENİ Party municipalities, arrested mayors and district heads. How do you evaluate these processes for municipalities?

If there is corruption somewhere, of course corruption must be fought. It's not right for this to be one-dimensional. I voiced the corruption in AK Party municipalities. What happened? Nothing happened. This double standard is against the founding principles of democracy and is unacceptable.

What will be your attitude when the summaries of proceedings regarding some MPs are received?

In cases of corruption, representatives should say, "I will hold you accountable." If he is focused on individual interests, eats people's money, and serves himself and his family, he should have no business in parliament. He came there to get rich.

You said that you do not see Ekrem İmamoğlu as a political prisoner. Do you agree?

Certainly. The reason for his arrest is not because of his political statements. He is being tried for other reasons. So are other mayors. But I just stated that there is a double standard. The judiciary should not be politicized. The judiciary should not be used as a cudgel. I don't think it's right for anyone's house to be raided. First, you pick him up early in the morning, he stays in jail... What happens if you don't find evidence after a while? I don't find the judicial systems correct either?

"We support the Mecca Agreement to become a regional power in the new world order." you said. What does the CHP do when a motion comes to the parliament regarding the sending of Turkish soldiers to any region within the framework of this agreement?

You have to be a founding independent power in the new world order. Otherwise you will lose a lot. Türkiye has to be a regional power, otherwise you cannot have a say in the world.

The investigation must be carried out within the scope of an organized crime. All aspects of the investigation must be revealed.

How do you evaluate the progress of the terrorism-free Türkiye process?

I find the terror-free Türkiye thing to be true. I hope it turns out well and successfully. We have been struggling to solve this problem since the 1980s. The election results in the USA were no surprise. This result was predicted. In terms of US foreign policy, election results may change foreign policy. But I do not think that the USA will give up its determination to be the main actor in the world.

Most of the critics don't know the truth. There was a congress. At that congress, the will of some members was bought with money. The receiver and the giver say this.
