Kırıkkale Municipality employees arrested on allegations of bribery

Municipality employees R.Z, G.Ç., who were detained in the bribery investigation carried out by the Kırıkkale Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. and Ö.G's procedures at the police station have been completed.

Three suspects, who were sent to the courthouse after health checks, were referred to the judge's office with a request for arrest after their interrogation at the prosecutor's office. It was decided to arrest the suspects.

MASAK REPORT AND BANK MOVEMENTS WERE EXAMINED

It was stated that in the investigations carried out within the scope of the investigation, bank transactions and the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) report supported the allegations.

R.Z, G.C. and Ö.G. were detained within the scope of the operation for allegedly demanding bribes in exchange for various works and transactions in the municipality.

MONEY INTRODUCTION TO ACCOUNTS EXCEEDING 4.3 MILLION LIRAS

During the investigations, it was determined that 1 million 56 thousand 880 liras had been entered into the account of R.Z., who worked as a technician in the workplace and license unit, in 180 transactions, and 3 million 120 thousand 885 liras had been entered into the account of G.Ç., who worked as a technician in the same unit, in 101 transactions.

Ö.G., who works in the real estate department. It was determined that 156 thousand 211 liras of money entered into the account of him and his son in 100 transactions.

Thus, it was recorded that 4 million 333 thousand 976 lira money was entered into the accounts examined within the scope of the investigation in a total of 381 transactions.

THE MUNICIPALITY STARTED AN ADMINISTRATIVE INVESTIGATION

Kırıkkale Municipality also initiated an administrative investigation against 3 personnel against whom judicial proceedings were taken.
