Winter tire shift begins

Within the scope of the regulations of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the use of winter tires is mandatory for all commercial vehicles between 15 November and 15 April. For private cars, the use of winter tires is recommended, although it is not a legal requirement.

Businesses that do not install winter tires on their vehicles, even though it is mandatory, will be fined.

Preparations for the circular regarding the mandatory winter tire application by the Ministry of Internal Affairs are continuing. The circular in question will be sent to 81 provincial governorships for implementation.

TIRE CHANGE FEE STARTS FROM 1500 TL

With the start of the rains, tire changing efforts also intensified.

Tire removal and installation costs 1500 lira for 13, 14 and 15 inch rims, 1750 lira for 16 and 17 inch rims, 2000 lira for 18 inch rims, 2250 lira for 19 inch rims, 2500 lira for 20 inch rims, 21 inch rims It is applied as 3000 lira.

The tire hotel fee is the same as the fee for changing four tires.
