Technical studies in the project will be completed this year, production of pipes will start next year, and the line will be completed in 2028 and natural gas will reach the TRNC. According to the news published in the Israeli and Greek media, India, Greece and Israel decided to bid for the tender to be opened at the end of this year, but it is certain that the Israeli stock exchange will win the tender.
Greek Exchange President Marinos Christodoulides, in his statement assuming that Israel won the tender, pointed out that their stock exchange is a small stock exchange with a volume of 20-40 million Euros, and stated that the size of the Israeli Stock Exchange is 3.5 billion Euros. According to the Greek President, after privatization, there will be a large amount of foreign investment in the Greek Cypriot stock market.
