Kremlin: Putin conveyed Iran's proposal for a solution to the conflict to Trump

In his statement to journalists, Peskov gave details about Putin's phone call with Trump yesterday.

Stating that Putin met with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkiyan twice at the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Heads of State Summit held in Turkmenistan, Peskov stated that in one of these meetings, Putin informed Pezeshkiyan about his phone call with US President Trump.

Peskov said, "Putin, with the approval of the Iranian President, conveyed to Trump the Iranian side's opinion on the possible solution of the conflict." he said.

Putin understood US proposals regarding Ukraine

Pointing out that the Ukraine issue was also discussed during the phone call, Peskov said, "During the meeting, Russian President Putin understood some of the US side's suggestions regarding steps to reduce tension." he said.

In addition, Peskov stated that, at Trump's initiative, most of the time at the meeting was devoted to resolving the Ukraine issue and that the leaders discussed this issue in detail.

US President Donald Trump, in his statement regarding the phone call he had with Russian President Putin yesterday, stated that the meeting was "extremely successful" and said, "An agreement was reached that Russia will immediately supply over 300 thousand tons of diesel fuel to the American and global markets, an additional 500 thousand tons during November and 1 million tons immediately afterwards." He used the expression.

Trump also noted that Russia would additionally deliver 3 million tons of diesel fuel in a short time, depending on the condition of its diesel refineries.
