Lavrov: BRICS Promotes Balance in Global Arena
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has lauded BRICS as a force promoting balance in the global arena.
"Amid the tectonic changes in the geopolitical and geo-economic landscape, BRICS is called to act as a force that is helping find balance in international relations, forming a positive agenda of global development on the basis of consensus and equality. Only such an approach, but not confrontation or a zero-sum game can yield the desired result," he said at the second plenary session of the BRICS ministerial meeting in New Delhi.
