Legia Warszawa celebrates its 110th anniversary with an all-star game against Miroslav Radovic's team

The team captains were Leszek Pisz and Miroslav Radović. Each team had over 30 players, so changes were made frequently.

The coaches included, among others: the current coach of the Polish national team, Jan Urban, and his predecessors in this role, who were also associated with the capital club in the past: Czesław Michniewicz, Stefan Majewski, Andrzej Strejlau and Paweł Janas.

About 10,000 people appeared in the stands. The main referee was Paweł Raczkowski. The match was commented by Dariusz Szpakowski, accompanied by the former coach of Legia and the Polish national team - Jerzy Engel.

Radović scored the first goal in the third minute of the match. After a while, Nemanja Nikolić scored two goals. Radović's team - playing in green and white uniforms - dominated from the beginning of the match. Artur Jędrzejczyk missed the penalty kick. He hit the crossbar from 11 meters, so Dusan Kuciak didn't even have to intervene.

In the second part, Jędrzejczyk, who officially ended his career a week ago and said goodbye to the capital club, overthrew the goalkeeper and scored a goal to make the score 1:3. Later, Daniel Ljuboa's son - Justin - took a penalty kick, but his shot was saved by Fabiański. Michal Hubnik and Nikolić scored goals in the third period. Then Cezary Kucharski scored for Pisz's team.

Ultimately, Radović's team won 5-2.

It's not about the result, but about meeting old friends. We are the history of this club. This is something beautiful. I wish Legia another 110 years, Polish championships and cups, and promotion to the Champions League - one of the players of the unique match, former Polish representative Roman Kosecki, told journalists.

In Legia, I tasted football at the highest level. I won many trophies here, I played in the Champions League. I am only 35 years old, and this match also involves players who played for Legia when I was not yet born - noted Michał Kucharczyk.

I started training when I was seven. I joined Legia at the age of 17, and this year I turn 40. The time has passed quickly. This match is very important to me. I wanted my wife and daughter to see me in the Legia shirt - Jakub Rzeźniczak told journalists.
