Detran-RN auction has Corolla for R$ 20.2 thousand and motorcycles from R$ 1 thousand; see how to participate

The State Department of Transit of Rio Grande do Norte (Detran-RN) will auction 95 lots of vehicles and scrap metal next Tuesday (20), starting at 10am. The auction will be held online, and bids are now available on the Lance Certo Leilões website.

Among the vehicles available are cars and motorcycles, with starting bids starting at R$1,000 for some motorcycle models. A Toyota Corolla appears with a starting bid of R$20,200.

In total, there are 51 lots of recoverable vehicles, nine cars and 42 motorcycles, in addition to 44 lots of scrap metal, comprising 100 items: 17 cars and 83 motorcycles.

The goods were seized or abandoned and, according to the notice, they can be auctioned when they are not claimed by the owners within 60 days.

How to participate in the auction

The auction will be exclusively online, on the Lance Certo Leilões website. Interested parties should consult the notice to check the registration and qualification conditions.

Payment for auctioned lots must be made in cash, in national currency, within three business days after the auction, in accordance with the rules of the notice.

Where to visit the vehicles

The in-person visitation will be this Friday (16) and Monday (19), from 8 am to 4 pm. The evaluation is exclusively visual: it is not permitted to handle, test or remove parts from vehicles, nor take photos or videos.

The lots are distributed across three courtyards:

Caicó: lots 1 to 17, on RN-288, km 1.1, Rural Zone.

Mossoró: lots 18 to 36, on Avenida Centenária, nº 1.000, Aeroporto 1 neighborhood.

São Gonçalo do Amarante: lots starting at number 37, at Avenida Ruy Pereira dos Santos, nº 2,565, Olho d’Água neighborhood.

The images available on the website are illustrative and do not replace an in-person inspection. The notice also informs that the goods are sold in the conditions in which they are.

How to withdraw a vehicle before the auction

Owners who wish to regularize the situation and remove a vehicle before the auction should contact the Detran-RN Auction Commission, at Avenida Perimetral Leste, nº 113, Cidade da Esperança, in Natal.

The service takes place from 8am to 2pm, by prior appointment on the Detran Services Portal, under the “Schedule” option, followed by “Make a new Schedule” and “Release Seized Vehicles”.
