Madrid Experience the Solar Eclipse: A Unique Moment in the Valdebernardo Forest Park

Madrid prepared to experience one of those phenomena that are not forgotten. From the Valdebernardo Forest Park, we followed the arrival of the solar eclipse in first person, surrounded by dozens of people who came to enjoy a unique moment. The afternoon began in the newsroom. At 4:30 p.m., we headed to the Valdebernardo Forest Park, one of the points from which the eclipse could be followed in Madrid. When we arrived, there were still few people, but the tranquility did not last long: little by little, the park began to fill with people looking for the best place to enjoy the phenomenon. Between cameras, cell phones and a lot of expectation, there was also time to prepare everything necessary to tell the moment. At 7:00 p.m. another of the important moments of the afternoon arrived: we started a live stream on TikTok to share the eclipse with those who had not been able to travel there. Meanwhile, people were still waiting expectantly for the show to begin. After the live show, we asked a few last questions before the most anticipated moment arrived. And then, little by little, the light began to change. Darkness took over the park. When the eclipse arrived, the atmosphere was spectacular. The darkness completely transformed the environment and for a few minutes everyone present shared the sensation of experiencing something unique. Then, little by little, the sun came out again and the light regained its prominence. With the phenomenon now over, we took the opportunity to ask some of the attendees what they thought of the experience.
