Email in Arabic with bomb threat, two schools in the Verona area evacuated

In the Veronese area, the evacuation of pupils and students in two schools in the province was ordered this morning, following a bomb threat that arrived in an email, apparently written in Arabic.

The towns of Castel d'Azzano and Bosco Chiesanuova were involved in the eviction. The evacuation, decided as a precaution by the magistrate on duty, involved a total of 27 schools, from nursery schools to secondary schools. All parents were advised to go and collect their children who were temporarily placed in the gyms and then all taken home. Dog units went to the site to clean up the premises.
