The building collapsed in Maltepe... The names of the 3 people under the rubble have been revealed!

The incident took place around 05.40 in the morning in the 7-storey building on Doğu Sokak, Maltepe Cevizli District. According to the information obtained, there was a collapse on the 3rd floor of the building for an unknown reason. Upon notice, AFAD, UMKE, fire brigade, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. During the search and rescue operations in which the teams were mobilized, 8 people were pulled out alive from under the rubble, while 2 people who were pulled from the rubble lost their lives.

It was reported that the work to extract Zeynep İnan, Mesut Bilece and Hüseyin Özyurt (64), who were trapped under the rubble, will be carried out after the demolition of the building is completed. On the other hand, it was learned that Hüseyin Özyurt was disabled and Zeynep İnan was the brother of Ahmet Muhammet İnan, who lost his life in the wreckage.

2 BUILDINGS ON THE STREET WERE SEALED

After the collapse of 3 floors of a 7-storey building in Maltepe, 2 buildings on the street were sealed by municipal teams as a precaution.

Two buildings on the street, one with 7 floors and the other with 4 floors, were sealed by municipal teams. It was determined that there was an association on the ground floor of the 4-storey building, and a workshop where shower materials were produced on the ground floor of the 7-storey building. Cats and fish fed in the factory were also taken by the teams.

On the other hand, in the letter prepared by the municipality regarding the surrounding buildings, it was stated that the collapsed structure and its debris should be evacuated as a precaution until the necessary technical examinations are completed in order to protect the safety of life and property, taking into account the possible dangers that it may pose to the surrounding buildings.
