Márcio Chaer, executive director of ConJur, dies at age 71 after chasing a robber in São Paulo

Márcio Chaer, executive director of the online magazine Consultor Jurídica, ConJur, died this Saturday (3). The journalist was in the passenger seat of a car with other people, when a robber stole his cell phone, in the center of São Paulo. He ran after the thief when he fell, according to the PM. The main hypothesis is that he suffered a heart attack. He was 71 years old.

"A huge loss for the world of law and for Justice itself. We lost a great debater, writer and, finally, a specialized journalist who leaves a huge void", says lawyer Alberto Zacharias Toron.
