Mardin 1969 Sports Club President Rıdvan Aşar: We Aim to Be Permanent in the League

Rıdvan Aşar, club president of Mardin 1969 Spor, one of the 1st League teams, said that they aim to be permanent in the league.

Making a statement at the press conference held at the club facilities, Aşar stated that they left the troubled times behind by climbing back to the 1st League after a long time.

Emphasizing that they aim to be permanent in the league, Aşar said, "We want to avoid relegation to the lower leagues again, and make Mardin1969 Spor permanent in the 1st League and Super League. This is not something that will happen in a short time. After all, we are new in many aspects as a city, as a facility, as an infrastructure, as a fan, as a management and as a team. Our struggle and initiatives for this continue." he said.

Stating that he believed that they had a productive transfer period, Aşar thanked coach Ahmet Cingöz and his delegation.

Aşar said:

"We are a new team in this league. We are new as a city. It took great effort to bring the players who played in the 1st League here. Our technical team showed great dedication and showed important characters in this process. They created a squad that we dreamed of. We are currently one of the two undefeated teams in the league. They have a great contribution to this success. Because it is not easy to create such a squad in a league where we are completely new. They transferred the players by watching them meticulously. They did not bring here any players they did not watch. This is a big effort not to waste the city's money." They worked devotedly."

Club press spokesman Kadir Üründü said that they bear the responsibility of being a team fighting for the top in the 1st League.

Noting that they want to crown their success with a championship in unity and solidarity, Üründü said, "We want to integrate the belonging in this city under the roof of Mardinspor, spread the love of Mardin 1969 Sports throughout the city and meet with the same feelings." he said.
