Marmaris Mayor Acar Ünlü joined the NEW Party

A ceremony was held today in front of the Marmaris District Headquarters of the party for Marmaris Mayor Acar Ünlü's joining the NEW Party. Ünlü announced that he will continue his political journey in the NEW Party led by Özgür Özel.

NEW Party Deputy Chairman and Muğla Deputy Gizem Özcan, Muğla Provincial Chairman Nail Kızıl, MPs Cumhur Uzun and Süreyya Öneş Derici, Yatağan Mayor Mesut Günay, Datça Mayor Aytaç Kurt, Köyceğiz Mayor Ali Erdoğan, Ula Mayor Mehmet Caner, NEW Party Marmaris Founding District President Pelin Özbozdağ and party members attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ünlü stated that although their political preferences have changed, the fundamental values they defend have not changed. Stating that their commitment to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's values ​​continues, Ünlü said; He said that their beliefs in democracy, law, human rights, the will of the people and social justice are the same.

According to the news in ANKA; Stating that they made the decision to join the NEW Party with their own political responsibilities and will, Ünlü noted that they also listened to the voice of the people of Marmaris in this decision.

Stating that they maintained the excitement and sense of responsibility on the day they took on the responsibility of governing Marmaris in the 31 March 2024 Local Government General Elections, Ünlü stated that there would be no change in their understanding of municipalism.

Stating that they will continue to work to make Marmaris a livable city 12 months a year, Ünlü said, "Our priority was Marmaris yesterday, it will be Marmaris today, it will be Marmaris tomorrow."

Stating that the door of the municipality will remain open to everyone, regardless of political views, Ünlü stated that they can work together with the central government, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and public institutions to solve the problems of Marmaris. Ünlü said, "We will do whatever the interests of Marmaris require. We will continue to produce solutions for Marmaris."

GİZEM ÖZCAN WEARED HER BADGE

After the speeches, Ünlü's NEW Party badge was worn by Deputy Chairman and Muğla Deputy Gizem Özcan. The municipal council members who joined the NEW Party were also given badges.

The celebrity said that his father gave him his first political badge when he was 18, and he gave NEW Party badges to his father, mother and wife.
