350 kilos of cocaine were seized from the ship's hull in Mersin Port

Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, in the coordinated work carried out by the teams of the Mersin Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate and the Intelligence Branch Directorate, it was determined that drugs would be removed with the help of divers from the underbody of the dry cargo ship that departed from Brazil and reached Mersin Port.

The teams conducting the operation seized 350 kilos of cocaine worth 1.5 billion TL in 12 packages hidden in the engine cooling water section under the outer hull of the ship.
