The General Directorate of Meteorology predicted showers and thunderstorms in Marmara (except Edirne), Eastern Mediterranean, eastern Central Anatolia, Central and Eastern Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, Muğla, Karaman, northern districts of Izmir, western and eastern districts of Antalya and east of Tokat. Local heavy rainfall is expected in Istanbul, Adana, Osmaniye, Sinop, Erzincan, Tunceli, Elazığ, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Çanakkale, west of Kocaeli, north of Balıkesir, west of Hatay, north of Kastamonu, eastern districts of Rize and northern parts of Artvin. A short-term storm wind of 50-70 km/h is expected from the north in the western Black Sea, Marmara and Northern Aegean coasts, and strong winds of 40-60 km/h are expected from the south in the southeast of Eastern Anatolia. Temperatures across the country will remain below seasonal norms.
