Metro and VLT in Ceará will operate free of charge on Enem days

Access will be granted through the turnstiles, without the need to present a transport card, documents or proof of registration. People not registered with Enem will also be able to use the service free of charge. On both Sundays, boarding of passengers with bicycles will be permitted during all opening hours.

Ceará had 261,923 registered for the National High School Exam (Enem) 2026, according to the Ministry of Education (MEC). The number brings a 5% drop in the number of registrations compared to the previous year in the state, with a decrease of 14 thousand registered.

Due to operation on Sunday - a day on which the metro and VLT normally do not operate -, the lines will close earlier on previous Saturdays, that is, on the 7th and 14th of November. You can check opening times on the Metrofor website.
