MHP deputy Karakoç was injured in a traffic accident... The governor announced: 'He needs advanced examination, we will transfer him to Ankara'

In Kahramanmaraş, 1 person died and 7 people were injured in the traffic accident that occurred in the convoy containing the MHP MP and the provincial chairman.

The accident occurred at noon on the Afşin-Elbistan highway. The pickup truck with plate number 07 L 6050, whose drivers have not yet been identified, and the car with plate number 46 AY 069 collided.

A 16 YEAR OLD CHILD LOST HIS LIFE

Upon notice, gendarmerie, health, police and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. During the accident, medical teams checked that Samet Özdemir (16), who was in the truck, died.

7 people, including MHP Kahramanmaraş Deputy Zuhal Karakoç, protection police and MHP Kahramanmaraş Provincial Chairman Mansur Metehan, were injured in the accident.

The injured were taken to Afşin State Hospital by ambulance. Deputy Karakoç, who was injured in the accident, was transferred to Kahramanmaraş after the first intervention at Afşin State Hospital.

"WE WILL TRANSPORT IT TO ANKARA TONIGHT"

Kahramanmaraş Governor Mükrrem Ünlüer visited Karakoç at the State Hospital. Stating that Karakoç is in good health, Governor Ünlüer said, "Today, around half past two o'clock, there was an accident involving two vehicles at the main road entrance of Afşin district of our province. Our MHP Deputy Zuhal Karakoç and the provincial chairman were in the vehicle. It was a two-vehicle accident with 8 injuries. Unfortunately, one of our citizens lost his life in this accident. Our other injured people are in good condition now, we visited all of them. Our deputy needs an advanced examination. To Ankara tonight. "We will transfer him. It is not life-threatening. However, he has a problem with his back that has progressed a bit since this accident. They want to see the doctors he had previously treated in Ankara. Hopefully, they will be there tomorrow morning and the doctor friends will do what is necessary. We will transfer him to Ankara via Hatay. Since the planes cannot land in Gaziantep and Kahramanmaraş, he will be transferred to Ankara via Hatay," he said.
