Migrant detained after attempted stabbing of a soldier in the port of Ceuta

A migrant was arrested this Thursday for trying to stab a soldier in the port area of ​​Ceuta. Several members of the Group of Regulars number 54 have subdued the Moroccan citizen after he pulled out a knife and attacked one of the soldiers, as police sources have informed El Faro de Ceuta.

The events occurred around 2:00 p.m. The troops were carrying out patrol duties when a warehouse worker alerted them to the presence of a man who was threatening several people with a stick.

The soldiers then began a search through the surrounding area until they located a person whose clothing and appearance matched the description provided by the worker. One of the members of the patrol stopped him, but the man fled through the port.

The soldier began to chase him and finally caught up with him in one of the alleys in the area, where other members of Regulares also arrived. At that moment, according to the story reported to the Ceuta newspaper, the man took out a knife and attacked one of the soldiers, although his companions managed to control the individual, subdue him and remove the knife.
