Milan Skriniar evaluated the 6-0 defeat to Aston Villa: 'Today was embarrassing!'

Fenerbahçe suffered a heavy defeat, losing 6-0 to the English team Aston Villa, which it hosted in the second week of the UEFA Champions League.

After the match, the captain of the yellow-dark blue team, Milan Skriniar, expressed his discomfort with their performance.

Highlights from the Slovak defender's statements are as follows:

"WE MADE VERY BIG MISTAKES"

"You pay for every detail in the Champions League. We made huge mistakes today. We should show our face, not hide. Today was a shame. We shouldn't play like this, we shouldn't make turnovers. We should raise our level."

"WE SHOULD RAISE THE LEVEL UP"

"We had 2-3 clear positions in the first half, but we could not take advantage of them. It is not easy to be 3-0 behind in such a match. We tried to turn the match around in the second half. Things became difficult when the opponent scored again. We must raise the level. Both the technical staff and the players must be united. There is a league match in 3 days. What we need to do is unite and continue working."
