MİT and Ankara Police detained 38 people suspected of FETO regarding the Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu helicopter crash.

In the statement made by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that, in line with the studies on the crash of the helicopter carrying Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and his friends, by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the Organized Crime Branch of the Ankara Police Department, under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a detention order was issued for the suspects, who were determined to have participated in the "crime of premeditated murder" within the scope of the activities of the Fetullah Armed Terrorist Organization and to have committed various crimes to "prevent the material truth from being revealed".

In the statement, which was recorded that search and seizure operations were carried out at 45 addresses in 16 provinces centered in Ankara, it was shared that 10 of the suspects for whom detention orders were given were determined to be in prison, 33 suspects were detained on September 25, and subsequently, a total of 38 people were detained, including 5 suspects who were determined to have committed the aforementioned crimes.

In the statement, the following was noted:

"A total of 38 suspects taken into custody were present at our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 36 suspects were referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest, and 2 suspects were referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for judicial control. An arrest decision was made for all of the suspects referred with a request for arrest, and a judicial control measure was decided for 2 suspects referred with a request for judicial control.
