Fashion: 100 million Mimit decree signed for the relaunch of the supply chain

The Minister of Business and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso signed the implementing decree to allocate 100 million euros to support and relaunch the fashion, textile and accessories supply chain, in implementation of the annual law on SMEs. Mimit communicates this.

The resources, allocated from the Sustainable Growth Fund, are aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises in the sector for the implementation of development programs of amounts between one million and 20 million euros. In detail, the intervention provides for non-repayable contributions and subsidized loans, with the latter being able to request up to 20% of the eligible investments, for a maximum overall coverage of the subsidies equal to 75% of the expenditure. The structure of the decree also guarantees specific attention to the fabric of micro and small businesses, to which 25% of the overall resources are reserved, and to territorial rebalancing, allocating 40% of the allocation to the regions of Southern Italy.

"With this decree we give concrete answers to a key sector for our country's economy", said Urso. The projects must aim to enhance the production processes located in Italy, the prevalent use of semi-finished products of Italian or European origin and the strengthening of business combinations along the value chain.
