Residents report intense shooting in Duque de Caxias; truck is crossed in Washington Luiz

There were also reports of gunshots in the Corte 8 region. A video obtained shows buses avoiding the route that leads to the region along Avenida Presidente Kennedy, in the center of Duque de Caxias, during the early hours of the morning.

Around 4am, a trailer was crossed on Rodovia Washington Luís (BR-040), near Caxias Shopping, towards Petrópolis. Until the last update of this report, there was no information about who put the vehicle on the road or whether the episode was directly related to the shooting.

TV Globo requested information from the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the Military Police and the concessionaire Elovias, which manages the highway, and is awaiting feedback.
