Moscow air defenses shoot down eight more drones targeting the city

MOSCOW, September 3. /TASS/. Air defenses have shot down another eight unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flying toward Moscow, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.

"Eight more drones heading for Moscow have been destroyed. Emergency response personnel are working at the sites where debris fell," he wrote on the Max social media platform.

A total of 72 drones flying toward Moscow have been shot down since the beginning of the day, according to TASS calculations based on data from Sobyanin.
