However, recently, hackers claimed that they had successfully invaded the "Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital (301 Hospital)", which is regarded as the exclusive medical and longevity care base for the core leadership of the CCP Central Committee, and stole a lot of data, including Xi Jinping's medical records, and the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of Xi Jinping was also exposed!
"NetAskari" (pseudonym), an independent cybersecurity and open source intelligence researcher who has attracted the attention of many international media for exposing China's establishment of a huge "overseas personnel dynamic monitoring platform" targeting foreigners and foreign journalists based in Beijing, disclosed on the X platform on the 18th of this month that a hacker claimed to have successfully hacked into the 301 Hospital in Beijing and stolen more than 400GB of data, including copies of Xi Jinping's recent MRI imaging files. Discussions immediately arose as soon as the news came out, but "NetAskari" emphasized that the authenticity of the news cannot be verified at this stage.
However, "NetAskari" also forwarded the leaked MRI images of Xi Jinping. It can be seen that the examination date was around 2:50 pm on July 30 this year. The file details the patient's name as "Xi Jing Ping", born on June 15, 1953, the medical record/examination number is "60575", the examination unit is 301 Hospital, the examination site is the right knee joint, and a "T2-weighted fast spin echo sagittal section" scan is used to quickly display the anatomy and lesions of body tissues. Of course, after the MRI image was exposed, many people questioned the forgery. The fact that the patient's name is displayed in pinyin in the file is very suspicious.
In addition, "NetAskari" also attached a screenshot of the original data header (Metadata/Header) of the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) file and a screenshot of a suspected server file directory or network storage (NAS) interface. In the latter, you can see that the file size shows a total of 13,096 files with a total capacity of about 452.29GB. Most of them are compressed files. The file names seem to start with a pinyin surname, which may be the medical information of high-ranking Chinese Communist Party officials in the 301 Hospital.
Although most people in the outside world are suspicious of these leaked images and screenshots, and bluntly say that Xi Jinping’s case is China’s top secret and hackers cannot steal it so smoothly, writer Yang Weilong said that the CCP’s top secrets have been stolen by hackers in the past and sold online. Take an example that occurred on February 6 this year. The hacker group "FlamingChina" claimed on the Telegram anonymous channel that it had stolen highly confidential defense documents from more than 6,000 client organizations, totaling 10PB, from China's National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin. The contents included missile design drawings, nuclear fusion simulations and bioinformatics data, and then put them on the Internet for public sale. Several information security and network security researchers evaluated the leaked file samples and initially determined that the leak was true.
