64-year-old woman is knocked down by motorcyclist on Avenida Paulista during a political event

A 64-year-old woman hit her head and needed medical help after being knocked to the ground by a motorcyclist this Saturday morning (3), on Avenida Paulista. The attack took place near the corner of Rua Augusta, where a political event was taking place that brought together thousands of supporters of President Lula (PT), a candidate for re-election.

The police did not confirm whether the victim was participating in the demonstration or just passing by. According to g1, the motorcyclist, who was carrying a delivery bag, allegedly pushed the woman while trying to make his way through the crowd after having his way blocked.

The motorcyclist left Avenida Paulista shortly after the incident and was not identified. According to the Public Security Secretariat, no police report has been found so far.
