Woman found dead near gate on Presidente Prudente street

According to the police report, the Military Police were called at around 3:20 am to respond to the incident on Rua José Palácio. The woman was lying next to the gate of a property.

A resident told police that he was called by a motorcyclist who asked for help. When he checked what was happening, he saw his neighbor lying on the sidewalk.

Fire Department and municipal rescue teams were called, but a doctor confirmed the death at the scene, around 3am.

According to police records, the woman lived alone and had heart problems. She had also recently undergone vascular surgery.

The case was registered as a suspicious death, as it was not possible to determine the circumstances and cause of death at that time. The Civil Police requested a necroscopic examination to assist in the investigation.
