After a weapons break-in in Austria: Search in Upper Bavaria continues

After a break-in at a weapons store in Austria, the search for possible additional perpetrators in Upper Bavaria continues. It cannot be ruled out that other burglars are on the run, said a police spokesman. On Friday, the emergency services arrested three men and seized a number of rifles.

The perpetrators are said to have entered the arms shop in Innsbruck, Austria, on Friday morning and stole numerous weapons, with which they fled across the border into Germany in a stolen car. According to the police, there was an accident near Mittenwald and the suspects fled on foot. A large contingent of police then searched for the perpetrators.
