Nguyen Duc Anh, 21 years old, was prosecuted for killing 3 neighbors after a conflict with his ex-girlfriend.

Dong NaiNguyen Duc Anh lied to his friend to collect debt so he could take him to his ex-girlfriend's house, but was stopped; then returned and murdered three unknown neighbors, mother and child.

On the evening of September 4, Nguyen Duc Anh, 21 years old, was prosecuted and detained by Dong Nai Police for investigation of murder under Clause 1, Article 123 of the Penal Code.

Duc Anh was determined to attack Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang's family in Binh Minh commune, causing his wife Ho Thi Mai and two children to die. Mr. Quang was seriously injured and is now out of danger.

Told you would 'seek revenge'

According to the investigation, on the afternoon of September 2, Duc Anh drank with about 7 people at a friend's house in Ho Nai ward. During the drinking session, he talked about his girlfriend asking him to break up and that he would seek revenge, but everyone stopped him.

At around 10:30 p.m., when the drinking ended, Duc Anh asked one of the group to drive him to Bui Chu hamlet, Binh Minh commune, saying he was going to an acquaintance's house to collect a debt of 5 million VND.

On the way, Duc Anh asked his friend to drive him back to his room in Ho Nai ward to get his things. The friend did not know what Duc Anh took.

At the motel room, Duc Anh took a Japanese sword and a Thai knife and hid it on his body, then continued to ask his friend to drive him to the said location. When he arrived, which was also the area where his ex-girlfriend's house was located, he asked his friend to drive around to observe.

Discovering his ex-girlfriend's father coming home from work, Duc Anh asked him to stop the car and said: "Let me deal with this guy, this guy is the father of the guy who owes me money."

The friend intervened, did not let Duc Anh carry out his plan and drove him back to the motel room to rest and then go home.

According to the investigation agency, around 0:00 on September 3, Duc Anh drove his motorbike, wore a mask, and brought a knife back to his ex-girlfriend's house. He parked the car behind, then climbed over the neighbor's fence and onto the roof to try to break in.

Hearing noises from the skylight area, the girl's father came out to chase her away. Duc Anh then climbed to Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang's house next door to continue finding a way to break into this man's house.

Murdered entire family to 'cover up clues'

When he opened the second floor door and went down to the ground floor, Duc Anh was discovered by Mr. Quang and shouted. The suspect immediately used a knife to attack.

Mr. Quang ran to the back to grab a knife to fight back but dropped it. Duc Anh continued to chase and slash him, seriously injuring him. The victim opened the door and ran out to the street to call for help, but the suspect still chased and attacked him until he collapsed, about 15 meters from the gate of the house.

According to the investigation results, Duc Anh then returned to Mr. Quang's house, locked the gate and then found the remaining people in the house to continue killing to cover up the clues.

After committing the crime, Duc Anh opened the door and was arrested by the police.
