Nicolas Raskin announced that he rejected the Beşiktaş transfer offer

Nicolas Raskin, whom Beşiktaş had negotiations to add to its squad during the transfer period, made remarkable statements about the transfer process to the black-and-white team.

The Belgian midfielder, who plays for Rangers, stated that the transfer period was not easy for him and announced that he rejected the offer from Beşiktaş.

"I remember the morning of September 2 very well. They called me and told me that an offer had been received from Beşiktaş and that the deal was almost completed. However, that evening we had an away match against Falkirk and I had to go to the hotel with the team.

My phone was constantly ringing. Even on the bus going to the match, I didn't know whether I would be transferred to Beşiktaş or not. The coach was preparing for the match without knowing whether I could play or not.

In the end, I played 90 minutes and rejected Beşiktaş's offer. There is great uncertainty for players and their families during the transfer period. You don't have much time to decide.

Beşiktaş is still a good club. They play in the Europa League and always fight for trophies in Türkiye. But I'm also happy at Rangers and we're getting good results here."

Raskin stated that he wanted to take a new step in his career, but the uncertainty created by the transfer process forced him:
