Nizip State Hospital was put into service

Speaking at the opening of the 400-bed Nizip State Hospital, Minister Memişoğlu said that they broke new ground in the field of healthcare in Türkiye.

Stating that they have made many innovations in the field of health in the country in the last 25 years, Memişoğlu continued as follows:

"We have achieved a historical development in the field of health. We have renewed or rebuilt 80 percent of our hospitals. We have equipped our health infrastructure with modern and state-of-the-art devices. Thanks to the investments we have made in health in 25 years and the efforts of our devoted health workers, we are able to provide health services to our citizens 1 billion times a year in our health facilities. We serve our beloved nation with a bed capacity of approximately 40 thousand in the 27 city hospitals we have completed. We are rapidly continuing our new health investments all over our country."

Providing information about city hospitals, Memişoğlu said, "The construction of our 13 city hospitals with a total of 16 thousand beds is rising one by one. In addition, the project work of our 7 city hospitals is continuing. When the construction processes are completed, our country will have 20 new city hospitals with a bed capacity of more than 24 thousand." he said.

Explaining that they have strengthened the legislative infrastructure in the field of health, Memişoğlu said, "We have provided home health services to 4.5 million citizens since 2012. We have the most advanced digital health infrastructure in the world. In the last year, we have renewed the reports of approximately 1 million citizens over the age of 80 and bedridden electronically, without going to the hospital." he said.

Regarding the hospital that was opened, Minister Memişoğlu said, "Our 400-bed Nizip State Hospital will meet the health needs of our citizens with its advanced facilities including 125 polyclinics, 95 intensive and palliative care beds, 12 fully equipped operating rooms and dental units." shared his knowledge.

AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Abdulhamit Gül also stated that Türkiye is a country that is highlighted in the field of health and said, "Very important investments and services have been made that cannot be done in 250 years. All of these stem from our belief in our nation. That is why our nation has always supported the man of the nation, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the President." he said.

Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber said, "Today, we are opening the opening of this hospital, from which we have received great satisfaction and which provides excellent services for a while now, with all procedures completed. May it be beneficial to our district." he said.

Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin also said that they are working around the hospital.
