WHO IS NUSRET ALTINBAŞ?

Nusret Altınbaş was born on July 11, 1970 in Araban district of Gaziantep. Altınbaş, who studied at the Turkish Cypriot High School, was among the founding partners of Altınbaş Kuyumculuk, which was established in 1990.

In his CV on KAP, it is stated that Altınbaş is the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Altınbaş Holding, as well as taking on management duties at Creditwest Bank Kıbrıs and Alnus Yatırım Menkul Değerler.

There has been a new development in the fund investigations carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Terrorism Financing and Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau, regarding transactions carried out in the capital markets.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that an investigation was carried out regarding the shares of four companies in line with the reports submitted by the Capital Markets Board (CMB) and the written applications made.

Following the investigations, it was announced that detention orders were issued for 31 people within the scope of the investigation.

As part of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Altınbaş Holding owner Nusret Altınbaş, his brother İnan Altınbaş was detained, and all assets of other family members were frozen.
