Barcelona message from Okan Buruk: We will not just defend

"WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO PLAY AGAINST BARCELONA"

"Of course, we are excited to play in the Champions League with our players, we are excited to play against Barcelona. We will play on our home field. Home matches are very exciting, our motivation increases a lot. Sometimes you do not need to prepare the players at the highest level. The preparation for this match is much different.

"We will play against one of the fittest teams in the world. They won every match this year, but we will be against them. When we did our best, I think we did important things in this stadium. Our goal is to win as always. We will do our best to win. We have a very important team against us. Barcelona is the favorite according to everyone, but we will try to do our best."

"WE WILL NOT JUST DEFEND"

We will not only defend, we will also attack. It is necessary to consider both. Whatever decision we make, how we need to defend against our opponent... We need to do our best. You need to put the strongest pressure on whichever region you are in. It will be very important for you to receive the ball passionately even when the ball is with the opponent. We need to show this passion. Whatever decision we make, we need to do it in the strongest possible way. On the offensive side, we need to stay calm and keep the ball. Our opponent also plays on the high line, and every team makes plans against that high line. They haven't conceded many goals this year. They are also a team that tries to impose their own game on the opponent. We will play against an important team. We need to make fewer mistakes."

TORREIRA, DAVINSON, BATRAKOV...

"Our most difficult match was perhaps the Kasımpaşa match. Lucas came from afar, Davinson came from afar. Batrakov played a lot of matches. There were players returning from the Turkish National Team, perhaps they were the most tired. Kasımpaşa was difficult. The next part is that we are now a full squad. Only Singo is missing, other than that we are a full squad. There are 4 days in between, we have a rest period. The happier you win, the happier you are. The faster you regenerate physically. We have to win the matches."

"WE NEED TO BE AGGRESSIVE"

"Today we will do the last training. We will reveal our plans more clearly. We are Galatasaray, we will play on our own field. No matter what system we play, we need to be aggressive. We will show that aggressiveness and try to close our goal to goals. We have those players. Besides, we also need to score goals."

There is another possibility of a surprise farewell in Fenerbahçe, which parted ways with many names before the new season. The fate of the football player, who was indispensable last season, is in the hands of coach İsmail Kartal.

GRANDMOTHER HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN

That name that fell out of favor in Fenerbahçe is Nene. The winger, who completed last season with 11 goals and 10 assists, is not among İsmail Kartal's plans. The situation of Nene, who scored 2 goals in the national team with the Mali jersey despite not playing for the yellow-dark blue team, is a matter of debate.

İSMAİL KARTAL'S REPORT WILL BE DETERMINANT

Despite Kerem Aktürkoğlu's poor performance, the possibility of a separation for the player, who was not considered by İsmail Kartal, is being discussed in the winter transfer period. The management has not closed the door to the sale of Nene. According to Milliyet, yellow-dark blue administrators will act according to the report from İsmail Kartal.

If İsmail Kartal is approved, offers for the 23-year-old Malian winger will be evaluated.
