Users can present the presentations they have prepared directly via ChatGPT or export them to PowerPoint and Google formats. In this process, the aim is to export without damaging the format.

A new agent feature called Dots has also been included in this ecosystem. This feature offers a structure that can directly take part in the work area and process feedback.

With these new tools, OpenAI aims to eliminate the need for users to develop their ideas in ChatGPT and move them elsewhere. Space aims to increase the efficiency of teams by gathering this process under one roof.

Security steps for corporate data

OpenAI announced the Private Intelligence layer to address corporate customers' concerns about data security. This system provides tighter control mechanisms to protect data.

Zero Data Retention enables automated security reviews to be performed without OpenAI staff accessing the data. The company plans to incorporate secret computing methods with Private Inference, coming this fall.

These moves show that OpenAI is following a similar path to Anthropic's Claude Cowork strategy. The company aims to turn ChatGPT into a workspace rather than just a chat bot.

Although Sam Altman described these new tools as parts of a system, he did not state that they were a direct Workspace competitor. Still, these features help users consolidate their workflows on a single platform.

Company representatives emphasized that Space was built for humans and artificial intelligence to work together on the same content. Users can now develop their ideas in ChatGPT and complete their processes without having to move them elsewhere.
