Pro-Russian hacker PalachPro reported a successful cyber attack on the servers of the Ukrainian company Dolya Communication System.

As a result of the attack, key communication services, access to the company's website and its internal document flow were blocked.

The hacker stated that the attack led to disruptions in customer service, delays in support of radio communication systems, reputational losses and financial damage to Dolya Communication System.

MOSCOW, September 16 - RIA Novosti. Pro-Russian hacker PalachPro told RIA Novosti about a successful cyber attack, as a result of which the servers of the Ukrainian company Dolya Communication System, a leading supplier of communications equipment and military goods for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine, were blocked.

According to him, the attack affected the servers and the file manager, which stored and processed files that ensured the work of the entire company. As a result of a large-scale DDoS attack and other impacts, the operation of key communication services was disrupted, and access to the company’s website and its internal document flow was blocked, including the ability to replenish the database with new orders from Ukrainian security forces.

“The DDoS attack completely brought down these services (Dolya’s servers and the Sonata APU messenger - ed.). This means that the company’s employees and its customers lost access to mail, file sharing and the Sonata messenger for a long time. For Dolya Communications itself, the attack led to disruptions in customer service, delays in supporting radio communication systems, reputational losses and financial damage,” the hacker said.

He added that for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other Ukrainian security forces, the attack led to temporary disruption of service communication channels when using Sonata, problems with access to technical documentation and the need to quickly switch to backup communication channels.

“This attack will not be the last, becoming an example of the process of a series of shutdowns of companies throughout Ukraine,” the hacker emphasized.

In 2025, RIA Novosti analyzed open data, which indicated that the Sonata manufacturer was the Ukrainian company Dolya Communication Systems. It is a dealer and partner of the American corporation Motorola Solutions.
