Perugia, two young people hospitalized after a collision between a car and a truck died

The two young people died, she was 20 and he was 21, involved this morning in a collision between the car in which they were traveling and a truck along the Perugia-Bettolle motorway junction, near the Passignano Ovest junction in correspondence with a narrowing of the road due to a construction site. They are both originally from the Marche region.

Following the accident they were transported to Perugia hospital under code red. Hospitalized in intensive care, they died in the late afternoon, as we learn from the Santa Maria della Misericordia.

The driver of the truck was also slightly injured in the accident. According to what was learned from Anas, the collision occurred at kilometer 27,700 of the ring road, between the junctions of Passignano east and Passignano west, in the province of Perugia.
