Perugia, twenty-year-old worker dies crushed by machinery

A twenty-year-old boy died at work, a worker who was crushed by the machinery he was operating.

It was 8.30 in via Santa Cristina, in Valtopina, in the province of Perugia when the worker was at work asphalting the road. According to initial reconstructions, the steamroller fell down a cliff. A five-metre flight that left the twenty-year-old no escape: the machine overturned and overwhelmed and crushed the boy.

Attempts to save him were futile: the young worker was already dead when the police and the air ambulance arrived.
