The Military Police seized more than 20 kg of cocaine, as well as boxes of cigarettes of different brands and 20 new tires of foreign origin during an attack on a truck in Teodoro Sampaio (SP), in the early hours of this Thursday (1st).

According to the Military Police, a team was patrolling the central area of ​​the city when they approached a tractor truck next to a twin train set, which was parked in front of a business.

During the inspection of the vehicle, the police found 20 tablets of cocaine, totaling 20.8 kg.

Cigarette boxes of different brands and 20 new tires were also found, installed in the vehicle, all of foreign origin.

The two men who were involved in the incident were taken to the Federal Police headquarters, in Presidente Prudente (SP), where the case was registered.

The truck driver was arrested for the crimes of drug trafficking, smuggling and embezzlement. The second person involved was interviewed and released to respond freely.
